Jesus promised that Christians would be “hated” just as He was “hated” (John 15:18), dooming “good PR” forever. To His word, there is no shortage of Christian beliefs that seem to rankle folks nowadays. So which one of the following beliefs do you think is the most hated of all Christian beliefs?

I chose the “only way to God” belief. Some of the others ones edge that belief out in terms of controversy, in liberalized western civ (like the homsexuality one), but within the entire scope of the world and history, the exclusivity clause (haha) takes the cake for offensiveness.
Gee… this one is tough because I’ve heard all these. The fact that Jesus is the Only Way seems to rankle more atheists and agnostics than it does the “regular” population. I voted for it, but…
Personally, I think what draws real hatred is when people see Jesus in us. I have been fired from 2 jobs because of my Christian beliefs. They are deeply jealous among other things.
I gotta go with Jesus being the “only” way to God by a long, long, loooonnnnngggg shot.
Many Christians can skate around, downplay, ignore and “re-interpret” Scripture and allow for all kinds of caveats and become the darlings of the non-believing/secular media or those who prefer a liberal reading of the Bible.
You can’t ignore that fact. If you do, you can throw everything else out of the window and go on living your life however you choose. But if you do accept “No one come to the Father except through me” then you’ve gotta accept the whole deal.
Christianity isn’t a buffet, people want to pick and choose their favorite items and move on and “shame on you” if you disagree. However, the price of admission to sit at the Christian supper table is the acknowledgement that Jesus is the “only” way to God. That gets the goat of everyone who does not believe.
Results as of Sunday night: 37 respondents. Jesus is the “only” way to God — 25 votes. Homosexuality is a sin — 6. God created the world; it did not randomly evolve — 2. Hell is real and some people will live there forever — 2. The Bible is the inspired Word of God — 1. The Jews are God’s “Chosen People” — 1. “Jesus is the only way to God” receives 68% of the vote as “The Most Hated Christian Belief.”
As of 7/17, 51 people have answered the poll. The percentages remain the same with “Jesus is the only way to God” receiving 67% of the vote.
