Meet Rachelle

If you’ve been around the publishing industry for any time, you’ve probably heard the name Rachelle Gardner mentioned. In “agent years,” I suppose she’s a youngster (although I hear agents age mature fast). But with her extensive background in the publishing industry —  which include marketing, sales, freelance editing, acquisitions and editorial —  Rachelle has quickly become one of the stars of the circuit and one of the most sought after agents in Christian publishing. Her website is consistently rated one of the top literary blogs in cyberspace, and her fan base is bigger than our national budget and more rabid than an over-crowded end zone of Raider fans. Rachelle is both professional and wonderfully accessible, someone I’ve admired for quite some time. Which is why I’m so thrilled to announce that Rachelle Gardner will now be representing me! How it all came about is another story. But between her industry mojo and her degree in psychology, I feel almost undaunted. Okay, at least until our first rejection. Here’s looking to a productive relationship, Rachelle!

    Congratulations Mike (and Rachelle)!

I've been following her blog for a while now. She seems extremely professional, helpful, and dedicated to finding strong writers and passionately representing them. You will be a great team!

Spectacular. I've followed her for about as long as I've followed you. It makes a ton of sense, and I'm really glad that the work of us weirdos has finally worn down her resistance to the fantastic!

Say hey to James Patterson as you leave him in your wake, and don't forget the little people who helped get you there. We'll humbly accept a monthly stipend of no more than 100 g's.

Congratulations. The world won't know what hit 'em.

Congrats blah blah =) Good for you.

I've honestly never heard of her, but I'm rather disconnected from the industry.

Mega congrats on being offered representation by one of the best agents in the biz. I’m biased since she’s mine too. 🙂
